our core team...
how it began...our background...
Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Chris Judge made a successful career transition from semi-professional rugby player to the electrical trade around 2000. Judge Electrical Limited was founded in 2007 and Chris has focused on developing the business by committing to delivering a high standard of electrical services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Chris is also the Chair for The Blue Slate Foundation, a charity which focuses on sport and boxing to help people with a variety of issues from mental health and addiction as well as generally supporting the community with getting fit and healthy! The charity is currently working on building a new community gym in New Earswick, York and fundraising continues in 2025...if you'd like more information about The Blue Slate Foundation or to donate please email chris@judgeelectrical.co.uk

Mollie joined the team in 2019, with a background in income generation and commercial consultancy and a focus on continually improving communication and customer service, streamlining back-office processes, and driving business development.
Initially joining the business as an apprentice, Chris's son Dominic Judge is now a fully trained Senior Electrician with over 8 years experience. Dom enjoys working on new build projects and specialises in the commercial and construction sectors.
Dom's skills compliment our other key Senior Electricians, Richard Staveley and Ryan Overington, who have over 50 years experience between them and cover all areas of work, including specialising in industrial services.

Our full time Business Support Charlie is a key member of the team, being the first point of contact for all customers, managing our busy calendar and playing a crucial role in coordinating daily operations and supporting the administrative side of the business.
Our specialist lighting and heating designers work with us on a variety of projects and ensure that we can offer a full service, especially for commercial projects where styles and levels of lighting and heating are crucial elements.
Our team are based at The Raylor Centre, near York city centre and are sometimes joined by our office dog, Bruce, who can usually be found snoring on a comfy chair while our team are hard at work!
