our core team...

how it began...our background...

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, owner and Director Chris Judge made a successful career transition from semi-professional rugby player to the electrical trade around 2000. Judge Electrical Limited was founded in 2007 and Chris has focused on developing the business by committing to delivering a high standard of electrical services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Mollie joined the team in 2019 as Director of Development and Finance, with a background in income generation and commercial consultancy and a focus on continually improving communication and customer service, streamlining back-office processes, and driving business development.

Chris Judge electrician

Chris’s son Dominic Judge joined the business as an apprentice and has grown with it ever since. Now a fully qualified Senior Electrician with over 8 years of hands-on experience, Dom plays a key role in delivering high quality work across a range of projects. He has a particular interest in new build developments and is highly skilled in the commercial and construction sectors, where attention to detail and technical knowledge are essential.

Dom’s expertise complements the skills of our other Senior Electricians, Richard Staveley and Ryan Overington, who bring over 50 years of combined experience to the team. Between them, they cover the full spectrum of electrical work, from residential and commercial installations to specialist industrial services.

Our full time Business Support Charlie is a key member of the team, being the first point of contact for all customers, managing our busy calendar and playing a crucial role in coordinating daily operations and supporting the administrative side of the business.

Our specialist lighting and heating designers work with us on a variety of projects and ensure that we can offer a full service, especially for commercial projects where styles and levels of lighting and heating are crucial elements.

Our team are based at The Raylor Centre, near York city centre and are sometimes joined by our office dog, Bruce, who can usually be found snoring on a comfy chair while our team are hard at work!
