The figures below are ‘typical’ savings from changing the type of light bulbs in a small business. Savings will vary depending on many different factors, for instance maintenance staff costs.
All calculations are ‘simple’ calculations, for instance the probability distribution of the life span of bulbs forms no part of the calculations.
The calculations were done by a mathematician with a UK degree in probability and, in his opinion, are ‘simple, but not far from the truth’. |
