What To Look For If An Electrical Socket Is Not Working
With regards to the inner conductor of wire, if an electrical socket is not working, look for:
· Burnt (black) strands.
· Broken strands – not many strands connected to the electrical socket.
· Burnt (black) insulation.
· Brittle inner strands – the inner conductor is deteriorating.
If the electrical wiring has any of the above problems replace or repair the wiring.
