What To Look For If An Electrical Socket Is Not Working

With regards to the inner conductor of wire, if an electrical socket is not working, look for:

· Burnt (black) strands.

· Broken strands – not many strands connected to the electrical socket.

· Burnt (black) insulation.

· Brittle inner strands – the inner conductor is deteriorating.

If the electrical wiring has any of the above problems replace or repair the wiring.
