What Is Directional Lighting?
Directional lighting is as in the name – light that is directed in a specific direction.
An anglepoise lamp is directional, a spotlight is directional. Spotlights and anglepoise lamps direct the light in a direction.
A floodlight is not directional, a street light is not directional; floodlights and street lights direct their light over a wide area.

When To Use Directional Lighting In A Retail Environment
Use directional lighting to:

· Highlight special offers. · People are drawn to brightly lit areas.
